I enjoy photography, treasure hunting, biking, boating, hiking and spending lots of time with my wife and our two dogs.
If you could peek inside the studio of any artist, designer or craftsman (dead or alive), who would it be?
When did you know you were an artist/maker?
I think it was when my cousin from Sweden was visiting us and took me to my first Formula One evening dresses for women race when I was 13. I discovered photography and racing, all in one weekend. Photography and cars have been a serious part of my life ever since.
What does handmade mean to you?
To me, handmade means creating something from something else, with your own two hands – a piece of pottery, a painting or even a clock. They can be similar, but they are all unique in some way.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born in California, raised in upstate New York and have lived in Virginia for the last Bridal Headbands 30 years. I love Bridal Wraps Virginia – the bay, the ocean, the mountains, and the nation's capital are all within two hours. It's unique watches awesome.
I'm married to my best friend, Bonnie. Without her, none of this discount bridal headpieces would have ever happened. wedding dresses plus size She is my inspiration and the one person who believed in my dream. I have had a lot of jobs in my life — plus size cocktail dresses some I hated and some I liked, but never one I loved.
I have arrived. What a long, strange trip it's been. I have learned to love the simple things in life, and to stop and listen instead of talking and running around doing nothing.
Who has been most influential in your craft?
My wife, Bonnie. She is the one Quinceanera Dresses who talked me into getting into simple wedding dresses a local artist co-op and then quitting my job and going full time with dress. I will be a self-employed artist for vintage wedding dresses three years on discount bridesmaid dresses 2013 June 16.
Where does your inspiration come from?
Usually out of thin air. One of my favorite quotations is from Thomas Edison: "To create you need a good imagination and a big pile wedding dresses online of junk." I will see something and get an idea, but it will take days, weeks, months, and even years before I come up with a piece.
What handmade possession do you most cherish?
A one of-a-kind sundial that my junior prom dresses grandfather designed and built. It is a beautiful and unique piece.
Where would you like to be in ten years?
In a beach house, prom dress for cheap doing the white lace lingerie same thing I'm doing now. I love my job.
How do you get out of your creative ruts?
That's a toughie. Sometimes, it just takes a lot of patience. I will work on some other project that is completely different, like photography and or hiking.
